Light smell intensity from this Verdejo. At first its a bit closed but if you swirl it a bit and let it rest it opens up more.  Aromas of: Fresh cut gras, fresh yellow apple, citrus, lemon peal, mandarin peal. Secondary aromas: Hints of vanilla and ceder wood.

  • Palate

A dry, light bodied but complex but elegant Verdejo with high acidity and light tannins from the oak barrels with primary aromas of:  Citrus notes, fine lees, lemon peal, slight hint of peach, dried fruits, fennel, fresh cut grass.  Secondary notes:  Slight hints of vanilla, ceder wood, macadamia nuts and toast.

  • Finish

Medium long finish with vanilla, macadamia notes, citrus and lemon peal. The acidity do seems too linger.

  • Conclusion

A good Verdejo with great fresh acidity and lingering citrus notes and lemon peals. The soft wood maturation is something that gives it more dept and complexity, but still keeps its freshness.
