Nose
Fresh light red fruits like cherry, raspberry, plum, cassis. Light peppery and earthy notes.
-
Palate
Starts off with a mouth full of light fruits and then a small black pepper on the tongue. Cassis and plums fills the mouth. Medium smooth tannins and medium acidity. Some oak on the palate with a hint of vanilla and dried herbs. The 14% ABV give you that kick and body it needs to be full of flavor, and not watery on the palate.
-
Finish
Short to medium finish with light fruits, cassis and that peppery note in the back.
-
Conclusion
A smooth sipper that does well for what you pay for it. The smoothness and peppery notes are nicely balanced.

Goes great with
Lam, game, poultry
