A medium smell intensity with aromas of: red forest fruits, red currant, plum, cranberries, cassis. secondary aromas of: red pepper, sweet tobacco leafs, black peper.
-
Palate
On the palate enough red fruits aromas noticeable like the cassis and cranberries. The medium + acidity and medium tannins make the mouthfeel and body feel medium +. Also the palate intensity makes this wine feel medium +. this because the red pepper and black pepper are their on the palate.
-
Finish
Medium finish but powerful. With lots of red and dark forest fruit aromas and with a spicy and peppery note in the back.
-
Conclusion
A red wine with chest hair. It really delivers a strong and rugged character. The red fruit aromas are mixed with a spicy and peppery notes, where the cassis and cranberries really take over. In overall this wine is cheap and not very exciting in the glass.
