Tannins are strong in this Gran Reserva from Faustino, so this is a good sign for aging. It’s already enjoyable as it is now, but will only get better with time in the bottle.
Long, lingering finish with lots of beautiful dark red fruits notes and complex toasted wood notes. Dark spices in the end.
Expensive red Rioja wine but a Gran Reserva that’s worth your money even at the price they sell it for. This will get better with every year you safe it ( if you have the patience). This is an excellent wine for investment. The tannins and acidity in the bottle will settle and the complexity of this wine will be even beter over years. One of our favorite red wines from Rioja, Spain.
