Nose
A smell that you can fall in love with. It keeps drawn you back into the glass and makes you wanne smell more of this complex Rioja. Hints of dark chocolate with espresso, hazelnuts and vanilla. Some earthy notes.

Palate
A delicious full mouth feel with black and backed dark red fruits like, strawberries, raspberries, plum, cherry. Hints of ripe banana some figs. Mild tannin’s but well structured. Full body and normal acidity. Extremely good wood balance between the dark red fruits and wood maturation. In the back some peppery notes but noting overwhelming. Creamy coffee, toffee and dark/milky chocolate notes.

Finish
Long finish with dark cooked fruits and vanilla, in the back some chocolate, espresso and peppery notes.

Conclusion
Every sip is different and complex. 2014 is a good vintage for this Cune reserva. For 18 months this reserva has been matured in French and American oak barrels, with racking every six months. After botteling the wine has cellared for a year before being released. This wine will get better with age and develop in the bottle. Its worth your money and you can buy this without thinking. The winery is composed of 22 buildings, which include the original 1879 premises, as well as the plant designed and built by the Eiffel architectural studio in 1909. This winery combines tradition, quality and innovation. In 1940 it was pioneer with the construction of the first concrete fermentation cellar in Spain. In the 80´s it was pioneer with the first vinification plant non aggressive, the use of gravity.
