It starts of with some dark red fruits like: Plum, blackberry, black cherry. Secondary aromas like: leather, black pepper, baking spices.

On the palate the same dark fruits aromas: Plum, blackberry, black cherry Secondary aromas like: black pepper and backing spices. The tannins in this wine are medium and also the acidity in this wine is medium. It does give you a full mouthfeel and has a full body.

Conclusion
The extra addition of the carignan grape give it that fresh note over the GSM grapes. If you prefer strong red wine with great peppers then this wine will not disappoint you, it gives you what you want at an acceptable price with good quality. Let this wine breath for 15 minutes in your glasswork and it will reward you with a combination between dark red fruits and plumy red fruits. the pepper notes will settle more in your glass. This wine will be even better if you have the patience to store it in your wine cellar or cabinet of a couple of years. The aromas will be more pronounces and they will balance out more.
