Nose
A subtle nose with lots of red fruits aromas like strawberries, plum red currant and cranberries. Some secondary aromas of mushrooms and earth.
-
Palate
Same rich and fresh red fruits aromas on the palate with structured medium tannins and medium + acidity. Some subtle hints of old wood but isn't hardly noticeable.
-
Finish
Medium finish with red forrest fruits, earthiness, old wood and mushrooms. The acidity seems to linger but remains pleasant.
-
Conclusion
A fresh and decent Pinot Noir from the Expert Club. Not the best Pinot noir from the Bourgogne, but im not complaining for the price we paid. The structured tannins and nice acidity gives it a good mouthfeel and makes it a pleasant Pinot Noir. Lots of red forrest fruits gives it its freshness but the earthy and mushrooms aromas gives it more dept. So an overall balanced Pinot Noir.
