Conclusion
We find the Viña Albali Reserva more accessible then this one. A good pice but a little out of balance for a Gran Reserva. Expected more after trying the Viña Albali Reseva. I would prefer the Reserva over the Gran Reserva. You will get a good wine if you’re looking in this price category. This Tempranillo had at least 18 months of barrel aging in American oak barrels, followed by another period of 3 to 6 years in the bottle before its was distribute around the world. You can definitly taste the wood maturation on the palate but the tannins are still strong in this one.
